Wilderness Survival II (1Day)

Building on our Wilderness Survival I course, we will dive deeper into some of the techniques that can help us to manage emergencies in the backcountry. We will start off with a discussion on how to plan and carry-out a safe wilderness expedition and how we can make sound decisions when emergencies occur.

Learn more about improvised shelters, try more methods of fire lighting and refine your techniques on how to manage a campfire. You will practice building survival traps, learn about gathering and hunting wild foods, and using medicinal plants.
