Then it is time for you to get your hands dirty by learning about basic survival shelter concepts, how to reliably start a warming fire, improvising helpful camp tools, how to treat water for safe drinking and signal for help in an emergency.
This day will leave you with a foundation of skills that can help you to have a safer and more enjoyable time in the woods.
