Registration & Reservation

We handle all registrations on a first come, first serve basis. We reserve the right to deny the registration and participation at our discretion. In such a case a full refund will be paid to the customer.

All participants need to be 16 years of age or older, unless otherwise stated in the tour or course description. Written permission of legal parent is needed for participants less than 19 years of age.

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the invoice is required at the time of registration. The balance of the invoice is due 30 days prior to start of the tour/course.

Payments can be made by money transfer, Interac E-transfer, cash or cheque. All bank costs regarding a payment will be covered by the customer.

All prices are displayed in Canadian Dollar. Goods & Services Tax (GST) of 5% will be added to all prices and will be shown separately on the invoice.

Cancellation

If a tour needs to be cancelled by Bushcraft Yukon the full amount will be refunded to the customer. Any other claims from the customer will not be considerd. We reserve the right to cancel or change a tour/course and it’s itinerary at any time if we feel forced to by circumstanced beyond our control (e.g. weather conditions, forest fires, water levels).

If the customer cancels the contract, the following cancelation fees will be charged:

Until 60 days before tour/course date: 25% of total amount.

59 to 30 days before tour/course date: 50% of total amount.

29 to 15 days before tour/course date: 75% of total amount.

14 days and less before tour/course date: 100% of total amount.

All cancellations must be submitted to Bushcraft Yukon in writing.

Insurance

We recommend that you purchase trip cancellation, baggage and medical insurance for the duration of your trip with us. If you require evacuation for any reasons you will be responsible for all costs involved. Please ensure you are covered for this eventuality by your travel insurance or health plan.

Liability

All guests, participants and renters are required to sign a Release of Claims form for personal responsibility prior to the trip or course. Renters also need to sign a Rental Agreement to acknowledge their full responsibility for all rented equipment. Lost or damaged equipment will be charged at full retail price. All tour guest and course participants will have to fill out a medical form prior to tour or course.
