Yukon River – 1 Day

Enjoy an easy one-day paddle on the mighty Yukon River. During Yukon’s gold rush days this river was the main travel route for adventurous prospectors trying to get to the goldfields at the Klondike and Dawson City. Connect to the North’s rich and colorful history and explore a part of this beautiful waterway. Catch a glimpse of some of the bald eagles nesting on the river banks and get a chance to see one of the many hardworking beavers of the area.

We start in downtown Whitehorse with a basic introduction on how to canoe on moving water before we launch for our trip. Lunch will be provided by our guide. On this trip we will pass by some interesting fishing spots and if you do have a valid Yukon fishing license, you may be able to catch your dinner for the day. If you are interested in fishing on this trip, please talk to us about angling opportunities, the right gear (we offer rods, reels and lures for rent) and and the correct fishing license, before you book the tour.

We will paddle for 4-5 hours.

Dates: This tour is available on a daily basis upon request.

Price: $135 (based on 3 participants minimum, please request special offers if your group is smaller or larger)
